TWISTED PAIR SYSTEM DESIGN DIAGRAMS . . Following are some typical diagrams for Unshielded Twisted Pair systems using NITEK Products from the Twisted Pair Video Product Page.

In Diagram 1 two Model VB37F Transceiver units send video from a standard CCTV camera to a CCTV monitor over an unshielded twisted pair cable (UTP). Cable distance can be up to 1,000 feet. No power is required for the VB37F Transceiver units.

Diagram 2 shows two Model VB37F Transceiver units interfaced with an "Up-the-Coax" control system. Video and control are sent over one twisted pair cable. Transceivers can be either VB37M or VB37F.

In Diagram 3, the active post amplifier-equalizer in the TS560 with DIP switch selectable distance range, provides video transmission over a twisted pair cable from 100 to 3,000 feet in length. The Diagram is the same for the TS515 (100-1,500 ft).

In Diagram 4, an active TS1000 transmitter and receiver provide DIP switch selectable video from 1,000 to 6,000 feet over one pair. PTZ control; viz. RS422 is provided over a second pair. RS422 distance can extended by       Data and Control systems.
