incomplete, incorrect or missing, this document is intended to be a “guide”

Step1: Setup your WWW directory
You
need to plan where to put your home page (HTML data) and captured image file
(.JPG) in your WWW server. There is a directory in the CD named \Webcam, and a
sub-directory under the \WebCam named \image. In the \WebCam directory, we have
provided HTML source code, you can use the HTMLs we provide or you can modify
them to fit your need. Our HTML will reference the \image directory just under
the HTML data location. You have to follow the path and relation unless you
modify the HTML source code. If you want to use our sample HTML data and image
data, you must copy from the CD\WebCam directory (including \image
sub-directory) and change those files’ attributes from Read Only to Read Write.
Step2: Execute the WebCam function
Press
the tool bar icon “Network login” with “WebCam Server” option in the GoVideo
system local PC (PC that cameras are connected to). When this icon is selected
following dialog will be displayed:

If your WWW server is Windows based OS and connected with this PC by LAN or even the same PC, please select the “Video Frame Transfer Type” with “Local save file path”, you can browse the file path by press the icon besides the path location.
The captured image data (.JPG) will save to the location you specify.
If your WWW server located at remote and non-Windows based OS (like Unix), please select the “FTP Transfer file” option
and select “FTP Setup”.

You will see the FTP setup dialog” as below:

You need to specify the file locations in your WWW server. The file location is the captured image data location, you MUST consist with your HTML. Our HTML samples define the captured image data located at \Image under the HTML directory.
l JPG Quality option: A slide bar for selecting the quality of image saved in file. Higher in value will get better image quality and create more space.
l Frame Page Title Color: Print the date/time in the image, you can select the date/time color either black or white.

You need to use Internet browser, like Microsoft IE or Netscape Navigator to browse the web cam home page as below:

After
the home page displays, you can select the camera to view. If you press the
4Cam, you will see following:
